In brief:

- All businesses which form part of the WALTER GROUP are fully operational.
- You can still reach our employees as usual via their personal email addresses and telephone numbers.
- We are taking all necessary measures to ensure the health and safety of our employees and business partners.

The WALTER GROUP has a very strict action plan in place for the pandemic, it is part of our SHEQ (Safety Health Environment Quality) management system. We follow the legal guidelines of the World Health Organisation as well as the restrictions set out by national authorities such as the Foreign and Interior Ministries in Austria.

The coordination of all of the security measures is carried out by the SHEQ task force in close coordination with the board. The health and safety of our employees as well as business partners is our main priority.

We are in the position to be able to adapt quickly and on short notice to the COVID-19 situation and our employees are able to work both in the office and from home (home-office).

LKW WALTER still organises full truck load transport by road and Combined Transport throughout Europe and to/from Russia, Central Asia, the Middle East, North Africa and vice versa. Due to constantly external changing factors (governmental measures, driving bans, waiting time at borders etc.), we ask for your understanding that variations in service levels, longer transit times and price volatilities are possible.

The situation is dynamic and developing day-by-day. We will do our outmost to maintain operations as close to normal as possible. Many thanks to all our staff and the drivers for their extraordinary commitment and performance in this unprecedented situation! Keep well and fit!
