The WALTER GROUP has a strict business continuity programme for such situations which is part of our SHEQ (Safety Health Environment Quality) crisis management set-up. We follow the guidance provided by the World Health Organization (WHO) and national authorities such as the Foreign and Interior Ministries in Austria. We obey and try to exceed any restrictions imposed and take the necessary measures to ensure the health and safety of our employees and business partners. Our organisation is prepared to work from home; remote working areas (ie. home office) have already been implemented.
LKW WALTER still organises full truck load transport by road and Combined Transport throughout Europe and to/from Russia, Central Asia, the Middle East, North Africa and vice versa. Due to constantly external changing factors (governmental measures, driving bans, waiting time at borders etc.), we ask for your understanding that variations in service levels, longer transit times and price volatilities are possible.
The situation is dynamic and developing day-by-day. We will do our outmost to maintain operations as close to normal as possible. Many thanks to all our staff and the drivers for their extraordinary commitment and performance in this unprecedented situation! Keep well and fit!
